Group Classes
We offer regular drop-in Monday and Wednesday classes, plus online-only classes on Thursdays. Please scroll down for details on special workshops.
MONDAYS
Hybrid: In studio and on zoom
7-8 pm: Tango Technique (all levels). $25 or use your class card or monthly pass
8-9:30 pm: Partners-Only tango (int/adv level). $30 or use your class card or monthly pass
WEDNESDAYS
In studio only
Partner change classes, everyone tries both roles
7-8 pm: Intermediate Tango
8-9 pm: Beginner Tango - start any week - FREE for anyone ages 30 and under
9 pm-Midnight: Palermo Fishtown Milonga
Wednesday costs & promos:
- One class - $25 or use your class card or monthly pass
- Pay for the intermediate class and get the rest of the night free, except on live music nights.
- Pay for the beginner class and get the rest of the night free, except on live music nights.
- The Beginner class is free if you are age 30 or under.
THURSDAYS
Online only
12-1 pm: Intermediate-Advanced Partnered Tango - $25 or use your class card or monthly pass - Andres
1:15-2:15 pm: Tango Technique (all levels) - $25 or use your class card or monthly pass - Andres

Full-time students are welcome to use the code “FTstudent” for 20% off all activities, and we also accept sliding scale payments in any amount.
Octavio Fernandez in Philly: July 13-15, 2026
We’re thrilled to welcome Octavio Fernandez back to Philly for a super-short visit. We were able to help him schedule a short East Coast tour to make use once more of the P-3 visa which our festival secured for Octavio before it expires later this month.

7-8:30 pm: Special Workshop: “Stepping with Style” - Technique, history, and expression in the pisada (Intermediate & Up)
8:30-9 pm: Free Guided Practica for Workshop students
$45 in advance / $50 at the door
Wednesday, July 15
7-8 pm: Intermediate Tango - Octavio & Meredith
8-9 pm: All Levels Tango - Octavio & Meredith
9 pm-midnight: Palermo Fishtown Milonga
Class cards welcome. Regular pricing applies, except that we ask students to pay for BOTH classes tonight, if they take both. Usually, the second class is free for students who take the first class.

Thursdays: New Online Classes!
We are excited to announce that Andres will be teaching two ongoing online-only classes on Thursdays. Andres combines live instruction with looping slow-motion video to give you lots of resources to understand the material and improve your tango.
These classes are included in PATS’s monthly pass. 60-minute class cards may also be used.
