Corina Herrera & Ines Muzzopappa will teach together in Philly for the first time from Monday, April 15 through Wednesday, April 17. Don’t miss the chance to study with one of the most electrifying tango couples currently touring. Offerings include group classes & private lessons.
The Philadelphia Argentine Tango School is back open on a more limited schedule. As most of you know, we were closed for three weeks in the wake of Ignacio’s stroke. He is making progress, but is still in the Neuro ICU at Temple University Hospital. All of your prayers and thoughts are very much appreciated. I’m posting daily updates about Ignacio’s condition here.
Please see just below for all the amazing guest artists who are stepping in to keep the Philadelphia Argentine Tango School running, while I continue to give my full attention to support Ignacio’s recovery.
Starting April 1, PATS is open with classes and activities on Mondays and Wednesdays. We will also hold Milonga Qilombo on Saturday, April 27 with live music by Emiliano Messiez & Sergio Reyes, and a Beginner Intensive on Saturday & Sunday, April 27 & 28.
Here’s the upcoming schedule of teachers. Please cross-reference this schedule with our registration site for the specific classes offered and to sign up.
Once again this month, we’re gathering all our abrazos, our love for tango, and all the joy that this community brings us and dedicating all that energy to Ignacio’s full recovery. And there will be A LOT of energy at this all-star Milonga Qilombo, which includes:
8:30-9:30 pm: All-levels tango class - Andres Amarilla & Meredith Klein
