2nd Annual Intermediate-Level Intensive:
TOOLKIT FOR THE SOCIAL DANCE FLOOR
January 28 & 29, 2012

Over the course of a weekend, Damian Lobato & Meredith Klein will give students the tools they need to lead and follow comfortably and musically on the social dance floor. Our approach will be three-pronged, focusing on: structure, musicality, and technique.

The Intensive is open to students who have been through our 4-week advanced beginner series, or have equivalent experience. We’ll be switching partners throughout the classes, so feel free to come with or without a partner.

Saturday, January 28
2-3:30 pm: Gaining Fluency with Tango Structure
4-5:30 pm:  Fundamentals of Lead & Follow Technique

Sunday, January 29
2-3:30 pm: Practical Musicality
4-5:30 pm: Putting it All Together - In the last workshop, we'll work through sequences that make use of the structure, technique and musicality concepts covered in the preceding workshops.

Students may sign up for one workshop, one day or for the entire seminar. Since the intensive is conceived as a unit, students who are able to participate in the entire intensive will benefit the most.
